So I was going to make my first broadcast tonight, but I chickened out. I guess I kept waiting for the “right moment” but that didn’t help. Now I know I just have to do it and the rest will fall into place. I’m your typical “good girl” and have never done anything like this so it’s a little nerve-wracking. I’m excited to come out of my shell a bit and try something new and meet new people but my profile was just made today so I think I needed to let it sink in for a day and get used to the idea. I’m definitely ready to start tomorrow though and am getting more excited about it. I’m a southern girl, so if you come into my chat room, you’ll hear my accent and southern charm (I’d like to think I have charm at least!) I try and joke and have fun with life and I love love love to sing! I sang in choir for over 10 years and got to sing at the White House after winning National’s in 10th grade! It’s one of my greatest accomplishments since I had a solo for the performance. I’d like to think my singing brings people joy so I may sing a little bit here and there in the general chat room but in private chat, I’d like to break the ice by asking my guest what they’d like to hear my sing and sing a special song for them. I think that’d help me set myself aside from the rest of the girls. It could be like a specialty of mine, something people look forward to. If you’re reading this, and you haven’t yet had the chance to meet me and chat privately with me, think of a song you like, preferably a woman’s voice, and I’d be happy to sing it for you. My voice is soprano, so it’s not like a low tone, but I’ve been told I do Mariah Carey and Celine Dion the best. If you have a favorite song and I don’t yet know it, I will learn it just for you and sing from youtube using the lyrics and we can both enjoy it together, maybe even cam-to-cam and do a duet! It can be an icebreaker and also a great bonding experience. I love meeting new people and I hope if you’re reading this, you’re interested enough to give me a chance to get to know you, too!
