Sandra Clows: My First Experience on a Snowboard

It was a beautiful sunny day, we just took everything in rent and even managed to take a photo as a souvenir. It would be fun, they said. You’ll learn fast, they said.We even watched videos in advance like snowboarding for dummies, mistakes for beginners, etc.The first descent I just flew head over heels down, falling every 2 meters on my knees or hands. It was even a bit of fun. After the second descent, I even thought that I was starting to succeed. It was at this moment that I raked the board and, making a double toe-coat in flight, landed on my head. Fortunately, the blow was not very strong and I was wearing a helmet. My head was just a little buzzing. You lie like a fish with your mouth open, your eyes bulging, it’s scary. And then nicho just lets you go, you’re happy that you survived. You lie like a starfish on the slope-you rest. And here I am lying and thinking that this is all society imposed stereotypes that in winter you need to go to ski resorts, that it’s a thrill. I’m ready to go home and drink hot tea in bed, and then I remember how much money was paid for this extreme, which immediately opens a second wind…And after a while, it became much better, falls became much less and snowboarding begins to like more and more.
